・Wet plate photographs tend to appear darker compared to images on a monitor or printed photos. This is because while regular photographs are printed with dyes or ink on white paper, wet plate photography creates an image with silver particles on glass. Unlike white paper, the plates do not have a bright background, and even the brightest parts of the image are composed of silver. However, since silver reflects light, the image becomes more vivid and captivating when viewed under light. If you are interested, you can view samples at the studio.

・Wet plate photography is shaped by factors like temperature, humidity, and chemical conditions, making each image unique. The "stains and irregularities" or "white and black specks" add to the charm of handmade photography, embodying the "beauty of imperfection."

・If I find any defects such as blinking or being out of focus after the shoot, I will redo the shoot at no cost.

・ The images on tintypes are reversed on the left and right. Please be careful of text and logos on clothing.

・The chemicals used in wet plate photography react only to the light of specific wavelengths, so even if you take a picture of a modern person, you will get a vintage look.

・Glasses will appear a little darker, like lightly tinted sunglasses.
